ERASMUS+ KA107 Scholarship Program – May 2019

Eligibility Guidelines for University Staff Participating in an Exchange with Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment (HCMUNRE) under the Erasmus+ KA107 Program.

A. General Provisions:

  1. Duration of the exchange scholarship:
    • 5 months of study and research for lecturers who are affiliated with and currently working at HCMUNRE.

  2. The scholarship period cannot be shortened.

  3. All exchange scholarships must end by the end of May 2020.

  4. Partner universities may apply to participate if they meet the following criteria:
    • During the scholarship period, the candidate must be a full-time staff member of HCMUNRE (nationality is not a determining factor).

B. Application Procedures:

  1. Partner universities are required to submit the complete application dossiers of eligible candidates to HCMUNRE before August 25, 2019, including:
    • Application form (Download here);
    • Official letter/decision from the university allowing the candidate to participate in the exchange for teaching/training purposes;
    • Copy of passport;
    • Academic/professional CV.

  2. All documents must be written in English and sent via email to the HCMUNRE representative: Mr. Hứa Nguyễn Phúc (hnphuc@hcmunre.edu.vn) no later than August 25, 2019.

  3. Applications must be signed by the applicant to be considered valid.

  4. HCMUNRE is responsible for reviewing the applications and reporting the selection results after the recruitment process concludes.

  5. Only complete application dossiers will be considered.

  6. The final selection results will be sent directly to successful applicants via email in November 2019.

C. Visa Procedures:

The project coordinator will inform selected candidates directly about the visa application process. The final decision on visa issuance is made by the Spanish Embassy Consulate in Vietnam. Visa application fees are the responsibility of the applicant.

D. Scholarship Funding:

  1. Grantees will receive their scholarships upon arrival and after signing the financial agreement.

  2. Scholarship details for recipients from Vietnam:
    • The scholarship is awarded to one PhD student staff member for a 5-month period.
